TruStar Golf was founded in 2008 by Ryan Crook. Ryan came from a strong financial advisory and process oriented environment at KPMG LLP (an international services firm providing business advisory services, audit, and tax advice).  Furthermore, Ryan was a senior member of KPMG’s Golf Advisory Services practice within the firm which offered consulting services to over a thousand golf courses across North America and abroad.  After working at KPMG for many years, Ryan saw an opportunity to make a difference in the business and management of golf courses.  While providing advisory services was helping golf clubs, the full implementation and execution of a set of recommendations and best practices was not always an easy task for golf clubs. Our team has grown considerably since 2008 and is now involved in the management of 800 to 1,000 employees during the peak golf operating season.
